Can the bed be set up on both sides?

Yes. Place the mounting brackets on the side closest to the door and the bed configures to either the left or right side of your vehicle. This lets you keep one rear seat up while the bed is set up — so you always have room for a passenger and a place to sleep.

Is there a setup that sleeps two people?

Yes. The StowBed Extender is an add-on that connects directly to the single bed, expanding the sleeping surface to fit two people. It builds off the existing setup and fits in the same storage bag.

Does the bed shift around when you lay on it?

No, there is only minor shifting when there is lots of movement. The bed frame connects directly to the organizer and the legs are adjustable to get a perfectly level, stable surface regardless of your cargo floor. The single bed holds up to 300 lbs and the double setup with the Extender holds up to 500 lbs combined.
